Michael Savage: (Birth name: “Michael Weiner.”)

• Savage/Weiner claims that Democrats and Liberals are “vermin," "garbage,” "the enemy,” and "the enemy within."
  
• During one broadcast, he accused “liberals” (i.e., Democrats) of being out to “regularize pedophilia.”
  
• He routinely accuses Democrats and Liberals of “stabbing American soldiers in the back.” Yet, oddly enough, he has also claimed that the "huge mass" of enlisted personnel who joined the service did so simply "to get a pair of shoes and a chance to fornicate at government expense.”
  
• Recently, Savage/Weiner flew into a tirade against a caller who disagreed with him, saying that the man’s mother was a “whore” and that his father was “communist” who “pimped out your whore mother.”
  

Such outbursts are nothing unusual for Savage/Weiner. Here are some other, recent quotes:

• “The entire party (Democratic party) is dedicated to undermining the military!”
  
• (In the public school system, “Liberals” are teaching children that…) “…homosexual behavior is not only good, it’s better than heterosexual behavior!”
  
• “We are fighting a war against sub-humans, and international law should not be observed!”
  
• (Of those who oppose us in Iraq, he says…) “…wipe the vermin off the planet… and wipe their women out with them!”
  
• (Regarding Americans in this country who oppose the Iraq war, he says…) “Don’t worry about the ACLU! Round up all the seditious bastards… and intern them!”

Rush Limbaugh: Limbaugh’s daily, 3-hour “show” consists almost entirely of him vilifying Democrats and glorifying and exalting Republicans. He continually accuses Democrats and others of being fools and communists. Many of his “bits” imply, or even state openly, that Democrats and others who disagree with him are homosexuals. Feminists are routinely accused of being lesbians. Limbaugh also makes the frequent claim that his opponents are attempting to destroy America.

• In recognition of his efforts on their behalf, Republicans named Limbaugh an Honorary Member of the House of Representatives after they took over the congress in 1994.
• Recently, Limbaugh was exposed as a long time drug addict. His long-term abuse of the powerful narcotic, Oxycontin, very probably accounts for the fact that recently, he suddenly and unexpectedly went deaf and required surgery and cochlear implants to restore his hearing.
• After he was exposed as an addict, Limbaugh was checked into an addiction treatment facility, most likely as part of a deal to avoid going to jail. He has fought a vigorous legal battle to keep the details of his criminal case and resulting plea bargain from being released to the public.
• Since then, Limbaugh has been apprehended at an airport, entering the United States from a third world country, with another man’s name on the Viagra prescription in his luggage. Limbaugh is not married and has been divorced twice.
• Limbaugh has no children. He claims to be a family values advocate.
• Limbaugh regularly brags that he has “talent on loan from God.”
  
• Limbaugh is the most popular right wing “talk show host” in the entire country. His followers call themselves “ditto heads”.
  

Shaun Hannity: Hannity and his adoring fans continuously compliment each other for being “Great Americans”.

• Hannity says that all Democrats are "vulgar, disgusting, hypocrites."
  
• He routinely accuses them of being fools and liars.        

Unbelievable as it may sound the above statements are just a few, representative examples. The sad fact is, hundreds of such “talk show hosts” are saying these kinds of things and worse, at every hour of every day, all across this great nation of ours.

But how is it that you and I are paying them to churn out their hate-filled lies?

It’s simple, really. Savage/Weiner, Limbaugh, Hannity, and all the rest, make their money by selling airtime for commercials. When Democrats and others inadvertently purchase the products and services advertised in those commercials, a portion of the purchase price ends up in these “talk show hosts” pockets.

In effect, you and I are paying such “talk show hosts” to spew lies about us, lies which have been specifically designed to make people hate, fear and despise Democrats, progressives, environmentalists, and any others who dare to disagree with the extremist agenda of the far right wing of the Republican party.

But what companies would allow their advertising dollars to go to vicious liars like Limbaugh, Savage/Weiner, and Hannity?

Would you believe Boston Market, Arid Extra Dry, Gallery Furniture, Lasik Vision Institute, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Just Brakes, Lay’s Potato Chips, Wachovia, Net Zero, Home Depot, Discover Business Card and hundreds of other perfectly legitimate companies?

Unfortunately, it’s true.

What can be done about this disgusting situation? Here’s what we are asking:

Examine the current catalog of Hate Radio sponsors listed below.

If you are purchasing products or services from any of these companies, you should do the following three things.

1. Write the company a polite letter explaining that it is in danger of losing your business because it advertises on Hate Radio.
2. Stop doing business with that company if you do not get a satisfactory response from it.
3. Tell other people about this effort and invite them to join us!

Great idea and great info! Now, can you tell us which sponsors go with which shows? It is much easier to write a letter to a sponsor if we can quote from the specific show they advertise on. Much as Hannity turns my stomach, he's a French socialist compared to Michael Savage. I would particularly like to go after Savage's sponsors.

i would love to help you with this, but right now i am with my son a great deal at md anderson cancer center. should this situation improve or change i will definately help. i wanted to suggest that someone tape these shows, because writing things down is not as accurate. i got this idea from al franken, who taped limbaugh for several months and printed his foul ideas in a book. franken then researched limbaugh's past and compared his words with his actions, and well you can probably guess that what he discovered were major discrepancies. i'm pretty sure that these talk radio "hate" shows also have websites where transcripts can be downloaded and printed. for sure sean hannity can be found on the foxnews site, under "hannity and colmes". i just read that the show is taking on another democrat hater, so now it will be hannity and a clone vs. alan colmes, who basically sits there and takes it. he's either a plant (psuedo republican) or too much of a wimp to stand up for democrats - of course it's fox news, so he's probably the former. anyways, i hope my suggestion helps, and i'll do what i can to spread the word about warning these sponsors of "radio hate" shows.
