Some things speak for themselves
Tom Delay's arrest warrant is online.
Update 10/20: Thanks to Kris Graham for pointing out that the document has been pulled. Fortunately, there is a screenshot of it at AmericaBlog. The text is not as clear, but the heading is.
Update: The arrest warrant PDF is now available here: DelayArrest.pdf.
And here's the mugshot:

That mugshot just looks a little too happy, Lyn. Go to Perry's webblog at brains and eggs and see the REAL mugshot of the cockroach. He is one ugly mother and he doesn't look none too happy. I love it!

Please clear something up for me. I was looking at the Houston Whore Chronicle this morning and they have the same so-called mug shot as you posted above, Lyn. On Perry's site, however, there is a mug shot with a much unhappy DeLay holding a numbered plate with a side angle view. That looks more like a real mug shot to me, however, somebody might be playing games here.
If the photo above is the real mug shot somebody needs to slap the shit out of that bastard and wipe the grin off his ugly face.

Believe it or not, Kris. The one on this site is the official one and the one on Brains and Eggs is a photoshop combo of the real one and Nick Nolte's. DeLay treated it like a regular photo op.

Well, I get the impression that Perry thinks the one on his site is the correct one. Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if DeLay did grin his way through his "mug shot". He's an arrogant thug who has no conscience. He'll get his comeuppance, though. Eventually, all the turds in the White House have to be flushed.

ROFL
Kris, you're crackin' me up. Of course my mugshot is the "REAL" one. And go read the comments and trackbacks underneath that post for some REAL humor...

About DeLay's mug shot: Ever since my Physiology class in high school, I've been curious about people whose eyes are too close together (fetal alcohol syndrome, incest--you know, that kind of stuff). Now, though,I'm curious about DeLay, whose eyes seem too far apart. That mug shot looks as if it's made up of two sides of different faces. Do you think years of thuggery and general criminal conduct take their toll on the face? Maybe ol' Will was wrong when he said,"There's no art to find the mind's construction in the face." Then again, that fakey smile reminds me that he also commented in dismay about Iago in Othello that "one could smile and smile and be a villain."
Well. Here endeth the lesson. Thanks be to Shakespeare.

My understanding is that Delay put on the phony friendly smile to thwart Nick Lampson from using it in negative campaign ads. I hope that's true, because I find the irony very amusing. Hey, maybe we'll get lucky and he'll flip off the judge, too!

Actually Mike, lots of people smile for their mugshots.
