Register to Vote and Vote Early
The last day to register to vote is October 11th. If you have moved or had a name change, you need to resubmit your registration right away. To register, visit any of the following locations :
- Harris County Tax Offices
- Texas Department of Human Services
- Texas Department of Health
- Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation
- Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired
- Texas School for the Deaf
- Texas Commission for the Blind
- Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired
- Texas Rehabilitation Commission
- Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
- Each public library, including any branch or service outlet
- Each marriage license office of the county clerk
Many of your fellow Democrats are deputy registrars and would be happy to help you get registered. If you have any questions, call the Harris County Voter Registration Department at 713-368-VOTE (8683). If you need help finding a registrar, call HCDP today at (713) 802-0085.
Once you've registered to vote, take advantage of early voting beginning October 24th. Information is below the fold:

Folks can also download a voter registration application from the Harris County website:
http://www.tax.co.harris.tx.us/
The new registration will need to be mailed into the Harris County Tax Assessor/Collector's office.
