Volunteer at HCDP Headquarters
The Harris County Democratic Party is in need of additional office staff to fill several openings for the summer.
HCDP works on an all volunteer basis, and is totally dependent on the generosity of devoted individuals. Many regular volunteers have volunteered their time in the office for years.
Regular office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. There are two shifts, one from 9am to 1pm, and a second from 1pm to 5pm.
Regular staff volunteers volunteer one four-hour shift per week, either in the morning or afternoon. If you wish, you may work more than one shift. If you are unable to work regularly, you can also be a sub.
Duties involve answering the phones, making calls, some typing and light computer work, as well as various tasks as needed.

Sue will schedule training sessions for new staff volunteers.
